Argentina 1948 BSA A7 rigidframe

HI everybody

 My name is Juan Im 30 years old and a bought a A7 rigid frame for restorer. in my country (for the language and our govern) its very dificult found spare parts and information about BSA.
It would be amazing to know someone who have a 1948 A7 Bsa to asking some questions about parts and get photos of the A7.
Sory about me English is not so good.... if you know someone who spoke Spanish let me know!!

Welcome, great to have you aboard. Long Stroke owners on the forum will surely be of help, both with finding spare parts and helping with the tech. Your english is fine, no problems.

I don't know much about the long stroke A7 but a lot of people here do

Had the good fortune of travelling thru Argentina a few years ago....beautiful place...I would like to do a BSA ride there one day

it would be a pleasure to join you in your ride in Argentina the south  there are very nice rout ti ride!! when i finish with the bike. it would be nice to know that Im not the only one with A7 1948!

Thanks Muskrat I was working in the bike, now i have the frame only and in this week started to the paint...  you recommend some special painting?
today i visit the mechanic how is in charge to do the work in the cylinder to put in 62mm bore.
then i started to buy same spare parts but i need to know if there are a camshaft or a place were i can get one.... do you know?? the one how i needed i don't found in Ebay... because its a Longstroke bike... in my office i have de number part, but now i don't remember...
the crankshaft: there someone who have the size of the long stroke A7 bike???
ConRod: the part number of the ConRod is: 67-220 (for long stroke Bike) now i need to know which Rod Bearing Shells takes??

 Welcome to the forum, Juan. I also have a 1948 A7 which I've had since 1995 but I'm no expert as it was restored before I got it and I've not needed to do much, apart from the odd magneto rebuild.
