Hi All. Hopeing that a knowledgeable user will be able to confirm the correct type of tool box for a 1962 RGS. I am about to tidy up my recently purchased RGS and thought it best to have a spare tool box refurbished along with other items and then just swop them over, so I retrieved a round faced box from my parts stash with no hole drilled for the late type brake switch and thought that would be the right one but when I compared it with the one on the bike, the internal partition that forms the recess for the voltage controller was different so I went and found another round faced one only to find that was different again giving me a choice of 3. I would like to know which one is right for the bike, I know nothing of the bikes history so there is a chance that not all its parts are correct. Many Thanks in anticipation. Peter

Peter,
I don't know what would be different with an RGS box compared to the rest of the range, unless it is the lack of switch mounting hole.
Internally, the RGS box has a square hole in the right side partition to fit the regulator and has a removable bracket on the left.
The partition is a different shape to the earlier models.

Hi all. Thanks to sprint and trevinoz for your replys. In the image selection as attached by 'sprint'  the 3rd image on the top row and the 2nd image on the 2nd row show two of the tool box types that I have. The one fitted to the RGS looks to be the same as trevinoz's A10SR but my one has the hole drilled for the brake switch not used on the RGS, is that correct? any other advise? Regards, Peter

There's one of those regulators on ebay at the moment. Not common.
