New Member with '57 Golden Flash

I have a wide variety of bikes but this is my first A10, well I guess I also have a Super Rocket but I bought that as a basket case and it still is.

Anyway the Flash seems to be running great. I went through the bike yesterday and checked on a few things and made some adjustments. Fluids, valves, points, checked timing, adjusted primary chain, etc. It came with the Craven luggage which gives it somewhat of a different look. The bike is far from perfect but looks great just the way it is. I'm sure I'll have a few questions coming up. I want to rewire it as the original lighting switch and ammeter are no longer hooked up.

As the mirror is on the left I guess you are in a country that rides on the wrong side of the road.

Nice bike, a bit how I like 'em. It's got a certain patina.
The luggage outfit certainly doesn't look out of place, and adds a touch of originality. Great!
Am I correct in assuming it's got the 2 gallon tank? Never seen one before. Seems a bit odd for the American market?

The tank I'm not sure about. It has a very good chance of not being original to the bike possibly. No knee pads?

I too have a small fuel tank but without the dimples for the emblems or knee pads.
Are you sure it's a '57?  normaly they have the Ariel type wheel hubs on the 56/7s

Either way, enjoy your bike, she looks GREAT..

The previous owner told me it was a '57 but I also decided to look up the numbers myself.

Frame - EA7-10155
Engine - DA10-136

From what I could find that would translate to a 1957 model?

Welcone, grest looking bike you have there, My numbers and despatch details are below, checked by the vmcc club uk.
Im not sure if yours is 56 or 57 model year but both were pretty much the same being, as the previous post said, distinguished by the hubs being ariel type, but many bikes have had improvements especially to the front brake!

 I think I have some of those side boxes too, that I had on my Gutzi, and have an idea that someone was after some boxes of that name a while ago..??

I was at rally recently and saw a set of Cravens on a Guzzi.



Guzzi's are actually my bike of choice at the moment but the old A10 is bound to rank right up there with them.

I'm partial to the old loopframe Guzzi's.
