Got a strange problem , no its alright I am talking bikes !! The front b/cable on my bike as stretched and need a replacement ,having tried the usual culprits I've hit a dead end because my set up ( 8" single sided ) has an handlebar and a drum end adjuster this I'm told isn't available ,anyone else got this set up or ideas where i can buy another cable ,otherwise I'm stuck with getting a one off made made by Venhill , all thoughts gratefully listened to, cheers

De Groot has a variety of cables but the only one I see with double adjusters is the early A50-A65 (1964-68) type;

Not really an answer to the problem per se - but could you just make up a spacer to extend the outer a bit to take up the stretch?

Was thinking of that but the cable is now 10 yrs old and probably due to be retired anyway ,infact if I could move the actuating arm round a segment that would do me but it won't play nice thou I know not why !again any thoughts ,Bob

Buy a length of new cable, two new nipples and ferrules and make your own to the original length, or, thoroughly clean the inner you have, unsolder the nipple and shorten it to the original length if you're an experienced solderer?
You sure it's actually stretched, and not wear in the shoes?
