Does anyone know the size of the rear wheel bearings for a 1955 Swinging arm A10. its the 'crinkle' hub. I want to buy a couple of spares and don't want to remove the old ones until I have new ones etc...

The bearing number should be visible when the screwed bearing retainers are removed.

That would be RLS7. RLS7 2RS is better, it has rubber seals.

Bearings suffixed "ZZ" have two metal seals while "2RS" have rubber seals and are normally easier to get, although being Imperial bearings your local bearing stockist may not have them on the shelf any more.
Either bearing is better than the old non-sealed regreaseable type.

What Mike says.....how do I know? 'cos I have just purchased the wrong hub for my plunger
(2 1/4 x 1") and wondered why it wont fit! It is 46T, anybody nearby want it for a discount price? I started to make it fit but have decided to splash another £100 and get the correct one *eek*
