What is this item called holding the front Brake cable in place to stop it flapping around when not in use?
I circled it in yellow and is a picture I came across.
Tried searching cable holder, bracket, loop etc
Thanks

Hi BD.. Looks to be what is known as a P Clip, as in profile it looks like a letter P. An internet search will bring up literally thousands of variants. Usually used to secure hydraulic brake lines and other tubular components.

Easy to make out of steel pallet strapping. Actually seriously useful stuff for all sorts of applications

Very useful clip, I use a larger size and insert a rubber grommet with slit to protect the cable.

I saw Stainless steel ones in a boat shop

Thanks! That makes more sense now and didn’t think about searching P.

I’ve found some rubber ones but look too bulky. Will keep looking and perhaps go to my local hardware store over the weekend.
