Title: Hagon Shocks

I know that we only get what we pay for and have used Hagon's for all my wheel parts over the years. I have been looking at their range of shocks and wondering if I part with £200+ will I really notice the difference at my age. I tend to ride on country lanes most of the time. ? Thanks in anticipation.

What about NJB ? (No connection to them), but I'm really happy with the shocks they supplied for my TY250, -excellent and not expensive.
(They make all types of shocks for road and dirt bikes).

G'day Jools.
Just had a look at their site http://www.njbshocks.co.uk/  The Classic shrouded shocks look the part and at less than half the price of Hagons. For the sort of riding "most" of us do on the old BSA's I'd try them.

I bought a PAIR based on this. Never heard of anyone selling ONE of a pair of twin shocks!
-Maybe you're being mislead by the low prices?

The feller who owns it apparently used to work at Girlings.

I've used a pair of Tec shocks on the goldie. Available in different lengths and look like Girlings. For £50 a pair they appear a bargain, though time will tell.

I am convinced, I am not going to blow loads of money to get a blue sticker. Does anyone sell those Hagon Stickers LOL  ;)

hi guys, (The feller who owns it apparently used to work at Girlings.) who Alf Hagon? when i lived in Kent UK we (liked minded bikers) used to go to the grass track races on Sundays where Alf Hagon was the king with his immaculate bikes.  Visits from Barry Briggs/Reg Luckhurst and Bjorn Knutsson couldn't stop him winning, great ambassador for all things motorbikes, very underrated in my opinion, cheers

No, the guy who runs NJB used to work at Girling. Yep, Alf was a legend, agreed.
I'm also -(or was), a 'Kentishman' ... or is it 'Man of Kent'... north or south of the Medway, which is which? *beer*

hi Jools, as far as i know a man of Kent is someone who was born there and a Kentish man is someone who lives there but was not born there, i could be wrong it has happened!! . I consider myself a man of Kent as i was born in Canterbury, cheers
