Nearly everything on the market seems to be an Indian or MCA "generic" clamp on stand with "golf lub" shaped foot as per 3rd pic...but I have found this which is "thought to be" BSA by the owner. It would be for my 59 A7SS and I have the frame bracket.
I already have an old aftermarket one, identical to the "all purpose" sold today but the little "golf club" shaped foot rests/stops against the exhaust pipe.
This looks it might be quite useful????? If it will fit...........Cant tell if it's original or modified by an owner but I like the easy engage arm.

Hi Peter, What ever you do stay away from the Indian made ones. I have a friend who fitted one and it snapped. Not good. Same as most Indian stuff, pretty poor quality. I just fitted a set of fork bellows and found they have split without even being tried on the road, but where do you find decent ones. Another bloke bought a A10 rear sprocket and it lasted about 6 months before becoming a paper weight. My Indian tank has signs of rust and it was only out for one ride where it rained. Good luck. Don't trust the clamp-on ones. One day or another they'll slide... DAMHIK.

Hi Peter,
I think the stand pictured is AJS/Matchless ?
All original BSA stands have a part number cast on them

G'day fellas.
Funny I've never had a problem with the Indian clamp on I have on the Cafe. It did slip once but a couple of tacks with the old electric glue gun fixed that. I use the stand when starting the beast so it takes all my 80Kg *dunno*
Cheers

Did you use the glue sticks made for fabric or the ones for paper?
