I bought some fork shrouds today at the VMCC A/J for my Rigid A10 project, the vendor didn't know what they fitted - do you?

G'day Nourish.
At first glance I'd say early A50/65 had the slotted hole for the h/light.
Cheers

What is the length of the pre Unit twin shrouds?
P.S. I can't find any pictures of an A50/A65 that doesn't have the headlight cowl or short headlamp bracket - none with long headlamp brackets/shrouds

The A7/A10 shrouds are 15" long with a round hole. These were also used on the B and M series pre units as well. I think the shorter ones were used on the C11/C12 bikes but not sure about the slot rather than a round hole for the headlamp bolt. Might they be Triumph?

Looks very much like these https://www.ebay.com/itm/372861872524

I think from a C25 Barracuda or B44 from around 1967.
Parts 40 5183 and 40 5184
Shown as 13 1/4 long

One of those, "may as well put it here" topics.
I'm assuming the dimples at the bottoms of my A7 shrouds are not a factory feature. Anyone know otherwise? I didn't notice the dimples when I was taking the bike apart, so I don't know what would have caused them. Not seeing anything on the A10 that gives a clue, but the A10 does not have original mudguard stays.

Hi Richard,
They should be plain and round
Those look more like dents than dimples *work*

Thanks, John. That's what I thought. It only occured to me to ask after I'd already beat one out. Round within about 0.025". I think that's probably pretty good but may try to improve on it a liitle.
