Iain,
Your mates bike looks like the bush bashers we had when we were young and silly.
Is the photo taken in Finland?
cheers

Hi Olev,
Yes the picture was taken here in Finland.
His bike really shows mine up for the tarted up road bike with high pipes that it is.
I'll see if I can dig out another pic of it for you.
Richie, Is that the DIY SOS guy? He always struck me as a good bloke. Sort of guy you could enjoy a pint with..good taste in bikes too.
Cheers,
Iain

There you go Olev,
A couple of pics from last year. It now has a sidestand and no centrestand.
The bike is actually road registered, but I have obscured the reg no. in the photo.
cheers,
Iain

Thanks mate,
I'm surprised by the scenery. I thought the Finns struggled through snow and ice up to the armpits and drank vodka by the gallon to keep warm.
You learn lots here.
cheers

I'd guess in some regions +30 deg c summer, and -30 vinter is possible.

I would have thought Finland would be cooler in summer than UK as it is further north and does not benefit from the Gulfstream. *conf*

Certainly reaches +20 in summer,
-30 in winter does happen too. probably averages -15.
Doesnt get dark in summer doesnt get light in winter.
Cheers,
