Title: Cruising the Cheshire Lanes!
Post by: beezermacc on 05.06. 2020 13:19
My mate took this lovely 5-minute video of us cruisin' the other day. Two A10's a B25 and an A50. Hoping we can get back to doing this in bigger groups soon. My A10, VYU 610, has been all over the UK, Europe and to New Zealand during its fifteen years since rebirth. I love that bike.

Absolutely great! I joined the BSAOC so I could take rides like that in company.  *smile*

I hope we'll have a full year of outings in 2021.

It was good to see hand signals being used.

Andrew, what camera did he use to take the video and how was it mounted?

Hi Neil, Just been in touch with Judd and he says .... its a Drift ghost 4k, I set it at 2.7k @ 60 fps.... It's mounted just with some sort of standard handlebar mount.

Nice ride. but lanes Andrew? They're main roads! Cannot be called a lane around here without foot high grass down the middle!

Thanks Andrew. My son has just bought the latest GoPro camera. It has new features, such as transmitting the image, (4k HD) in real time to a smart phone to use as a view finder and image stabilisation. He has a chest mount for the camera. He says I can borrow the camera to take some biking footage!

Looking forward to that.

A while back I posted my video from the 2018 DGR using my Samsung S7 worn with  chest harness. That actually came out better than I expected, including decent exhaust sound. That was the one thing I missed in Andrew's video, though the music was pleasant

I've read that wind noise is a problem with this type of video. I may experiment with some kind of muffler for the mic. Or try to avoid beans for breakfast!

Nice. Thanks for posting.

Someone wants to start a dedicated topic about equipment\technique\tricks etc for making good riding videos ?
