Title: Lower fork slider stay nut size

I need to know the size of the nuts for the studs on lower slider 1962 A10. I know that they are Whitworth.  What I'd like to know, is the thread pitch match any other British standard?         Thank you

They are 5/16 inch x 26 tpi British Standard Cycle thread.
