Hi Bought this tank £5 (35+)years ago. Advise on pet cock size. I'd like to get the taps and make sure they fit before I rattle can paint it.

0.459 inches is the callipers inside size

They will be either 1/4 or 3/8 BSP thread 1/4BSP is 16.662mm- 0.518"  3/8BSP is 16.662mm-0.656"

Thanks, I'll order 2 x  1/4 BSP thread. If they don't fit I'll just keep them for 35 yrs (if I'm still here) and in Sept 2055 people will be wishing they had had bought them at todays prices.  *smile* (Aren't "We" the lucky ones)

They can’t both be 16.662 mm.

Yes my mistake 1/4 BSP should be 13.157mm - 0.518"
