Title: Fantastic Alloy Polish!
Post by: LJ. on 12.09. 2009 00:45
Has anyone used this metal polish called Meguiar's? I tell you what, it is absolutely fantastic stuff... By far better than autosol or anything else I've ever used. I dunno what the formula is as its hardly abrasive or acidic, it is easy to apply without any hard effort and easily rubs off when dry. I've found you need plenty of soft clean rags though and even then... the blackened polish off rags are great for bringing a shine up on the paintwork, and above all... the shine on the alloy lasts a long time.

I'm not in anyway advertising....

Halfords sell it save on the P&P by visiting your local store but you should check on line as not all the halfords stores keep it as a stock item but most do

 LJ,

Back when I did cars, there was this stuff called "zoop seal" (or close to that). I have no idea if they still make it, it was a GREAT product- problem was, it was hard to find as the guy made it in an old bathtub in his garage.

If its still around, we all ought to look for this stuff. It really made a shine last.

Absolutely amazing stuff. I have been using it for some time. Not only does the ally gleam, but the shine lasts, and lasts. It really is the best.
