Title: frame downtubes wall thickness

Just wondered weather anyone knows how thick the down tubes are that go down from the headstock , mine are slightly dented due to side car or engine bars , im going to mig weld them and dress back down to size , but setting up the mig depends on the thickness , cheers all phil.

Tubes are 1 1/8 diameter  x 14 swg (0.080 inch )

Thanks very much , its an early frame so not many about , so ive got some repairs to do , phil.
