Hi all.
Damien from South Yorkshire.
Got gifted a 1959 A10 S/A.
Currently at the full strip down and rebuild stage.
I’ve just about recovered from learning the new imperial sizing world🤦♂️🤦♂️.
Really enjoying the process thus far though.
Ooh….. no one mentioned it becomes addictive.👍🏻👍🏻

Welcome Damo, *wink2*
You lucky Sod !! I am still waiting for someone to give me a Brough Superior or indeed anything.!! Lots of help on the Forum. Almost everything has been covered, but need to search for it like when Googling. My bike is a 1961 A10 S/A Golden Flash with 1960 motor and an Iron head.
Imperial sizes covers the whole spectrum of British history - Whitworth, some SAE spanners, BCyc (Cycle thread), BSF, BA for small threads on horn, magneto and dynamo, and later UN sizes. I have sets of W and SAE spanners incl 25/32", and the occasional Metric fits. A bl---y nightmare. But it is addictive.
