Ho, Ho, Ho, Yes, it is getting on for that time of year when Santa needs to empty his bulging sack. It may contain a RGS frame, a nos SR motor, 4 spring clutch, SRM catalogue, SRM voucher for free roller bearing conversion, a rare Eddie Dow alloy primary chain oiler, a lathe or two, free subscription to OBM, even a years supply of Viagra…. and a whole lot more….If Santa is to give you one for Christmas, what will be your pleasure? Keep it clean please, no smut or innuendos this is a most respectable forum. Thank you and Merry Christmas - keep safe.

Another ten years of healthy motorcycle riding / boating.

G'day Fellas.
You know I've gotta say it. Bah Humbug *ex*
I wish everyone the best for everyday, not just that one day.
Hoping we all have a happy and healthy 2022.
Cheers
ps: But if he reads this I'd like w/shop manual for a 1978 XT500 *smile*

Aye RDfella, may he deliver that, and you be in good health to enjoy many more years of this great hobby.
Unfortunately for me, it is getting that time to think about selling up before I lose the plot and incable of stopping the kids from dumping the lot in a skip. I presume it is the decay genetics taking its vile course of bio-degradeable. Hell, I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday. Talking of bio-degradeable, at least British Leyland were the bench mark that other manufactures aspired to, they were green long before a Green Party evovled and returning their cars swiftly to nature.
Have fun keep riding and boating....

i'm in the humbug gang, but if he wants to fill my pockets he can put just over 5 grand back in them that has up to NOW *pull hair out* ! been thrown at the burger build.

Well, if you've been nice and not naughty this year, you should get all of your wishes. 👍
To be honest, I'm so pleased to get an antique Myford lathe that I don't care too much what else I get. 😁
-
Damn it. I'm always on the naughty list.....

I'm more interested in Easter when the resurrection of BSA might be happening. Roll on the release dates for the new BSA's *clap* . In the meantime parts for the BSA'a are a year long event worth celebrating *beer* *beer*
Having a New Years day run on the bike with the local BSAOC lads is good enough for me right now.

You may have to buy yourself something nice 😉

Hi 865,
Years ago my mother would stick a hidden sixpence in the Christmas pudding, only to find my sister, or I, getting a big dose of castor oil and a messy search for it hours later. Do you think your good lady has some spare parts hidden in those delicious treats? Mind, it would take quite some dosage of castor oil to get a timing gear out.

Yep,
Had set mself to do wedding cars in retirement
The Carr government changed to laws to pocket the $ 600,000,000 the Howard government handed out to every state & territory in order to "geregulate transport " so I got leglislated out of business & $ 270,000.
So it is fix mowers till I die or they all become electric
Not all down as I really wanted to leave school & become an apprentice mechanic but the HM would not have a bar of it.
So it sort of fulfils my early occupational dreams

G'day Fellas.
I'm back *smile*
Internet went out a week ago after a big storm. Xmas day was with the kids and G/kids, they all did well, I got a belly ache.
Then the 27th I drove up to Brisbane to see my sister (been 8 years) after she had a 1" tumor taken out of her brain 3 months ago. Had to wait till the boarder was opened.
Came home with a new project that I got a few months ago and was delivered to my sisters place. It's been a long wait to see it in the flesh. 1978 XT500 to replace the 76 that melted coming up to 2 years on NYE!
All the BEST for the new year and many more miles of smiles.
Cheers
