Hi Stephen, do you mean the maggy end cap/cutoff wire connector? either way anything Maggy give Andrew at Priory mags ,chesserbezza on the forum he's the bee's knees on 'em

Thank You but that is not the item .
It is the tiny round "plug" with a dimple which fits holding the moving arm of the points on the K2F Magneto ..it is an insulating item .
The spring clip locates on it .

Stephen,
It's not a high-tech or high-precision part. I made one from a random piece of nylon, though, almost any plastic would probably do. Just tricky to hold while using jewelers' files.

I made one from a cut down nylon 6BA screw.

The purpose of this part is to reduce friction between the clip and the moving arm of the points. It also helps to prevent the points wobbling on the fulcrum pin. It has no electrical insulation requirement. There are two sizes depending on the points you have. I stamp them out of thick fibre using a single hole punch and hammer, then raise the centre by pressing in a centre punch from the back.
