Hi
I recently bought a 1960 A10 super rocket as a restoration project
There is no V5 and I don’t have the registration. What I do have, however is the frame number and a helpful contact with a trade HPI account that can sometimes be successful in finding Reg numbers on the back of a frame number (ie VIN )
My frame number is FA7 XXXX - ie a 1960 super rocket
My question is- for those with UK registered A10s. What is the syntax used by DVLA on the logbook.
Is it:
FA7 XXXX ie a space
Or
FA7XXXX ie no space
Or do they use a dash or something.
Have tried with no space and it’s not coming back with anything.
It’s a long shot but I thought I’d ask people with the same model how the frame number is recorded on their V5s
nb I don’t want your frame numbers! Just curious what syntax DVLA use
Thanks

On my V5C it's just the frame and engine numbers as a long number with no space.

Ok great. Thanks

Frame no. FA7 - - - - - would be 1959 in the year, with a CA10R motor.
