Never had an issue with mine, seems like quite a snug fit in the head. Just bang it in and bolt it up.

dont know where you are but several places sell exh pipe expanders but measure and check often you cant make the OD smaller but you can make it bigger
-
do a search, I'm sure there has been discussions about this before and I seem to remember hi temp silicone or something similar for troublesome joints??
-
Plumbers PTFE tape wrapped around the exhaust before it's pushed into the head works well.
-
Normal silicone for me smother the pipe before I whack it in
-
Permatex high temp goop for me

I used exhaust sealant paste. It's black so unobtrusive.

Thats fine but all of mine have alloy heads *smile*

Hi All,
If you use silicone or other sealer be careful NOT to allow any of the sealer "ball up" in front of the pipe going into the head *ex*
A lump of sealer will cause a "hot spot"
Which can and will lead to valve failure *eek*

Bog standard silicone sealant of any colour applied to both sides and given at least 24 hours to cure before starting.
