I am rebuilding my 1963 ex police a10. Unfortunately the iron head was to damaged to use so I purchased an alloy head to fit. I need some advice on which spark plugs to use. I know I need to fit long reach plugs but which make and grade would be best. I am using low comp pistons 7.5/1.

Champion N4C, NGK B7ES are recommended. I use these in alloy heads.

I think Andrew meant Champion N4C

I have one of each in mine. The insulator broke on one N4 for no discernable reason on a long trip about four years ago and I could only buy the NGK. So far haven't found a need to replace them :)

if you have a problem finding the N4C plugs try a small engine shop they still use them
