Title: Question DVR2 regulator from Manortec

Hello,

does anyone have a datasheet for the DVR2 regulator from Manortec?

I'm wondering if the mounting brackets on the back need to be connected to ground...?

The Internet address of manortec is still not working.

This is the usual info supplied with DVRs Heiko. The data hasn't changed over the years, but the regulator itself doesn't look exactly the same these days. Yours is an early one - no reason why it shouldn't work (I have one like yours that does) - but later ones have a single mounting stud not the two brackets with threaded holes. Overall dimensions have always stayed the same, or near enough.
The earth connection is made by a wire - as Rex said:  red for positive earth, black for negative.
For 6 volt, brown and white are joined. White is not connected for 12v operation, as the data sheet explains.

Hello Bill,

I have the DVR 2 voltage regulator in my Ariel, and it works perfectly there. This previous model was installed at some point in the BSA.

However, I don't know if it ever worked there, and just because it's electronic doesn't mean they're indestructible.  ;)

I will sort it out.

I have a feeling that the owner has sold the company and products on. Not 100% sure on that, but if so the address given will obviously not work.

When I purchased mine a couple of years ago he said it was up for sale
