I tried using a VPN and gave up after about an hour.
Here's a site which might help you out. https://www.security.org/vpn/fix-common-issues/
VPNs are a waste of money if you ask me. Hides behind the sofa LOL ::hh::

Don't people use them for watching those naughty films without needing to provide age verification? *eek*

Other than that... *????*

I think we've used it to watch some channels not available here in France too Catz, but not of late as it didn't seem to work when asked last time around - according to Herself that is, who's mistress of that side of things. There seems to be an icon that flashes up when I start up the PC, so I suppose it's lurking in here somewhere, but that's the limit of my knowledge and I'm not moved to extend it!

I can't comment on it at the moment because we won't be back in France until next July but i'm hoping it'll work again by stealth. LOL.
BTW groily, whereabouts in France are you? We're heading to Normandy next time, already booked a gite near Caen.

No idea what anybody's talking about here! I have a television, it has a button to switch it on then buttons to select channels. I have a telephone, it's connected with wires to a wooden pole in the street. I have toolbox in the garage with spanners in it. Life's simple and great!

You're getting the parallel universe mixed up with the parallel twin you're always riding. *lol*

Up until last week when I went over to the NBN darkside, my ADSL landline gave me pretty damn good internet... (streaming movies even!)
