Title: A7 ss Sludge trap plugs
Post by: Roger (Doomtrainbarx) on 16.07. 2026 18:58
I was checking the "sludge trap" chamber on this A7 crank today.
When I fitted the new bungs, I noticed they screw in a couple of threads below the webbing face.
Should they be flush and peined over, or screwed right in till they stop ?

G'day Roger.
Both ends flush with two good center pops to keep'em there. Check the length of the timing side plug to make certain it will not block the oil hole. SJ plugs differ to LJ plugs.
Cheers
