Title: Wellseal
Post by: Gearbox on 17.07. 2026 13:44
Been looking for some if this for a while. Is it still available or is there a good substitute. I have some slight rocker box leaks that I would like to rectify.
Many thanks for thoughts, info etc.

It's available on Ebay - you've not tried very hard!

Whether it's as good as some other sealing products is another long thread's worth  . . . I quite like it for some things because it doesn't set hard, but not everyone is a fan. A tube lasts for ages though, that's something.

Thank you Gentlemen. I had spoken to a couple of dealers who said it was no longer available. As I don't have an Amazon account and not sure I trust Ebay so much since I got some dogdgy NGK plugs a while back, thought it as worth the enquiry.
It seems to be the go to material for rocker boxes based on info found on here and similar sites.

If it helps, while looking for other (AMC) stuff I saw that Wellseal is available in 100ml tubes from:
https://www.amoc-parts.com/store/comersus_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?idCategory=56
which is open to anyone, not just owners' club members.
