G'day all,
Thought I would share a close call I had on the way home for work yesterday. Was rounding a right hander not far from home when the back tyre lost all pressure in an instant. Naturally, the back end went all soft and wobbly and I avoided dropping the bike by putting my right foot down and pulling up slow. Turns out my tyre pressure was far too low (my own fault for not checking it) and it caused the valve to tear away from the tube.
A good reminder to all that you should always check your tyre pressures!
Cheers
Hubie.

Same thing happened to me last year, nearly wet myself!
Here's my experience http://www.a7a10.net/forum/index.php/topic,1538.0.html

Glad your okay Dave, take it easy out there! Learning curve here, I doubt you'll neglect your tyres again. Phew!

That gets your attention don't it. I had a front go at 50 mph years ago. Got the Brown Adrenalin going.
Cheers
