During a recent Scuba Diving excursion to warmer climates we were lucky enough to get the chance to dive inside the cargo holds of an old British WW11 vessel. It had been sunk fully laden by a german bomber . Lo & behold it was still full of vintage motorbikes (new in them days of course).
Can anyone guess the make and models from the photos? *eek*
I shall post some clues later if we all are stumped.

Would this be the SS Thistlegorm by any chance ??????
Mostly M20's and some Enfields.

Top Marks Brian, well done. Are you a diver also? *smile*
I thought maybe BSA M20's, and maybe even Norton 16H's

If you count the bathtub then I am a diver !
No I came across this on the net a few years ago and found it fascinating. There are some amazing photos on various web sites that have been taken by various divers over the years. Well worth a look to anyone interested.

It is a fascinating wreck I have to say, unfortunately most kit that isn't welded onto the bikes has already been taken as souvenirs

Tyres look good, better than mine. LOL
