Does anyone have a few photos of an early Ignition cut out button please ?
Thank you
Richard

How early? There is the button on the end of magneto type which is not really safe as you have to lean down to push it to kill engine, not easy if clutch is held in. I'm not sure of handlebar types though. My magneto button type is a 1949 model according to the tab, not sure when these were modified to take handlebar buttons.

Thanks for your reply LJ it would be the handle bar type .Another question I hope you dont mind ? An engine begining with the number zA10 is this suitable for a 1953 plunger model
Thanks Richard
-
No, a 53' engine should start with a B. Hope this doesnt upset the apple cart.
-
Thanks but will it fit in to a 53 ?
Richard

Yes, there is no difference in the engines, just the numbers.
-
Being pedantic, Brian, there is a difference.
The BA10 has a crankshaft oilseal whereas the ZA10 doesn't.

Don't you need a bolt up gearbox engine to fit into a plunger frame ?

Richard,
This is the magy cut-out button on my Flash.
The same thing was used for many years and was also used as a horn button up to 1955.
They are readily available.
