Title: Unknown mounting and Voltage regulator mount point
Post by: namloop on 22.08. 2012 10:17
Hi to all
Q1 On my 1950 A7 frame there is a mount point on the right hand rear mudguard stay - being presented with a basket case I am unsure what is attached here.
It is rear of the upper mount point.

Q2 The voltage regulator is mounted where? I am yet to see on mounted in a picture in the Roy Bacon book or google images.

Many thanks,
Stephen,
Gold Coast Australia
Where its beautiful one day and perfect the next - but honestly a bit of rain would be nice!

Hello Stephen,
the right side mudgard stay shouldnt have any mounting points on it but the left side does, its where the chainguard attaches. You may have two left hand ones.

The voltage regulater fixes to the rear mudguard underneath the seat. You will see two flat spots with holes in them.

Brian - fixed! swapped stays over noting the chain guard bolt is on the inside not the outside!
Thanks
Stephen
