Title: Engine Cut Out Switch

Hi

The cut out switch does not work and cannot find a wiring diagram for a 1962 A10 with + earth.  I looked at previous messages and followed the instructions.  Put a wire from the centre cap to earth and nothing happened.  Took the cap off and the carbon brush is ok. Started the engine then put a wire from the points to earth. Nothing happened.

                Check the earth brush in the body, on top of the magy at the drive end.

Short the centre nut of the points plate to earth, if that works check the brush spring is making a good cotact.

Has same issue, sometimes the brushes get stuck. Got a new one from a chap in OBM, he did not even charge me; a proper gent.

I never knew about the earth brush at the drive end.  Solved my "won't shut down" problem on my RR.
