Title: FAQ \ Guides for important matters ?
Post by: a10 gf on 29.06. 2013 10:53
Maybe time for a FAQ section for fault tracing, repair, adjustments, containing 'authoritative' and well proven guidance. Things like this comes to mind:

mag\ignition\timing
tappet clearance
crank endfloat
charging\electrical testing
clutch adjustment
brake adjustment
etc

If of interest, name the areas that should be covered.

Thanks
e.

Excellent idea, all of those mentioned plus:
oil (might be a big one *smile*)
getting it on the centre-stand
modifications and upgrades, e.g. TLS, oil pump, clutch, bearings etc or perhaps include a separate bit under each main section

Not a bad idea. It could get to be a very long list. The first post of each section should be the Service Sheet.
Cheers

Very good idea. Some subjects turn up here and are repeated often.
