I've had many bikes over the years but never British or a sidecar so I decided to kill two birds with one stone.

G'day RichFlash *welcome*
Very nice combo there mate. How did you come across it?
I've never been in charge of a chair but have done a few miles in one. Not much fun for a control freak, til he lifted it up and kept it up for a good 20 miles at 70mph. That was fun.
Cheers

Welcome RichFlash - brave man in at the deep end eh
I've never been in charge of a chair but have done a few miles in one.
Yep me too, it's the sudden disorienting change of direction that strengthens the gluteus maximus *eek*

Congratulations and welcome.
Nice bike. Love the tatty look.
Although some mixed feelings about the fairing, it doesn't look out of place in combination with the sidecar
I am currently on the lookout for a plunger A10, and seeing yours makes me impatient....

Thats a copy of my first bike/A10 in 1966 ( 16 then ) , didn't have an alloy head too exotic at that stage!! The screen works well ,after 14 hrs of rain going to Kent from Liverpool in 1966 I can vouch for it's worth ,I think you're going to have some fun , having also had s/arm outfits in the past I think the plunger handles much better . Give the engine and box new oil and start from there. When you go for your first ride take a host... I mean passenger with you or put a bag of sand in the chair and go steadily round left handers until you've got the balance, a supermarket carpark is ideal (when empty see even supermarkets can be useful) to ride round in circles both ways ,as Musky mentioned the chair wheel has been known to lift but if you have the room just strighten her up or turn away or simply close down the throttle ,within a few rides you'll be absolutely competant and then the fun really begins ,can't wait to hear how you get on and see some more piccys best wishes BobH.

everyone's got a story about the first time they rode an outfit
I put mine in a ditch *sad2*
great looking machine you've got there.
-
That all looks most splendid.
I ran a Busmar D/A on the side of a T3 for a while. Low speed head on with a Vauxhall Corsa for me. Doh.
-
Thanks for the comments
Scared myself at first then put a jerry can full of water in the chair. Much less frightening.
Done more miles now than on my Guzzi

Great things, chairs! just remember to drive around the chair on lefts and let it overtake you on rights and its a lot of fun.
Welcome to the forum

Yes, very nice and, welcome. I have no idea of what it is like to drive with a sidecar attached or to ride in one, but I've thought it would be fun.
Modifying slightly what Morris said, I would go with "patina'd" rather than "tatty". (Morris, Not meaning to put words in your mouth, but guessing you did not intend the "shabby" and "dilapidated" defintions for "tatty". Sh*t, there I go again with the language stuff. Can't help myself, I guess.)

Thanks for putting this right Richard. *red*
As you may have guessed, English is not my primary language, so forgive me if I sometimes use improper or incorrect words.
And certainly don't hesitate to correct, I'm always eager to learn, language- and bikewise.... (that's why I'm so fond of this forum, there ain't a day passing by without picking something up)

Yes, a very nice looking combo, keep it in this original\aged condition!
ps: patina: "a surface appearance of something grown beautiful especially with age or use"
(Does not apply to me lol)
