Hi all,
The head gasket on my '59 A7SS is blowing and I am going to replace it (rather than just re-torque the head). Are the head gaskets for all A7's the same? Also what are the views on copper vs composite?

the star twin is different from the other a7,s as it has two rocker boxes and the four push rods go through the same hole and as for composite thay are crap

I believe it's all of the longstroke (pre-'51) A7's that use a different head gasket, mainly due to the bore being different. All '51 and later (shortstroke) A7's use the same head gasket and since there are apparently quite a few substandard composite gaskets out there, I would also stick with solid copper.
