There are so many uses for BSA engines and gearboxes here's a gearbox used in a lathe.

Nothing like a 10 inch lathe with a 3 inch Chuck powered by a pre-unit 4 speed.

probably the earlier C11  4 speed which has both mounts underneath. Basically the same as the A10 box but apparently closer ratio's and of course a slightly different shell.
