Darn, that sounds like fun! If only I were a few thousand miles closer.

Double darn, I am leaving like 2 weeks before this would have loved to have a go. I think. Although on further thought I had a go in a Mini Se7ern class race car a few years ago and it took an hour for me to stop shaking   *help*

There are probably very few sports where you are as intimate with the track surface as a sidecar "passenger";   skimming above the track with just a handhold to keep you on.

Rule 1 never let go
rules 2-10 refer rule 1  *whistle*

Good clean fun.  *wink2*

If you look carefully at the image of the red triumph from that magazine picture you'll see a young un on board with a minder

Might make it up to it and bring the LCR money permitting, but it's about 14 hour trip from here and I could be out riding the A10 instead  *smile*

Doug Cornes Photography has some nice images of the bikes and people at the HAGD

Sadly the beesa had lost a carburetor bolt by the time I caught up with Warwick one of our South Island members  *sad2* so the bike was only out for a fairly short time. But a great day.

Will your bike be running long enough for me to have a ride of it this time?  *smile*

It's marked on my calendar as a bucket list must do item  *help* *woo*

I've bunged it on the nzbsamoc Facebook group site as a bit of an advert as well.

Good Man,
it is a great day out, not just for existing bike riders too, but for the whole family including grandma and the young uns.
There will be old sitters like mine, through to some seriously fast moderns, with the opportunity for a pootle or a rush around the track.
Its very special. I highly recommend. Sidecar people are a social bunch.

Ah, not looking promising, the two day meeting last weekend took its toll and the bikes starting a major refit a week earlier than planned rather than bugger it more.
By September it will be quite a new weapon
But right now Its not really fit for action
Apologies

Yes a great day to be had there I bet. My mate runs a quick Beemer, -very exciting, but the MOST exciting thing of the day is watching his passenger get out of her leathers!

Brings Dane Rowe to mind, raced with Rudi Kurth in the early 70's on some interesting stuff like a Crescent rig (outboard motors like a konig), whats not to like.
