Title: RGS Seat fixing
Post by: Sunbeam on 02.03. 2016 17:31
Hi, can anyone tell me why the RGS dual seat has 2 ..5/16 studs and threaded holes to the rear of them. Got the correct thick mudguard to seat plate but unsure which fixings to use before drilling my mudguard.

Thanks

Howard

The RGS doesn't use studs but has two extended head set screws.
The studs and nuts were fitted to the other models, also used different holes.

Hi Trev....thanks for the info. I was' nt sure which fixings to use as my bike came with the thinner goldie seat bracket fitted to the studs. Bought a new rear guard and correct thicker seat bracket and wanted to get things right before dtilling and chroming.

 Many thanks for your help.
