Drinking a beer and surfing the internet got me wondering......... Looked at "the world's fastest Velocette". A custom made cylinder and enlarged engine cases to accommodate a longer stroke........... is it still a Velocette? When a 113 cubic inch S&S engine is put into a much modified Harley chassis, is it still a Harley? Was Burt Munroe's bike really still an Indian? When an A65 top end is adapted to an A10 bottom, with modified clutch and electricals, is it still an A10?
Don't get me wrong, I admire those who can do such things and enjoy seeing and reading about them. Just philosophizing and wondering what others think.
