Title: inner chaincase bolts
Post by: ellis on 20.06. 2016 22:05
Could anyone tell me the torque setting for the two wire locked bolts in the inner chain case to crank case . I have reassembled the chain case and might have over tightened these bolts because I now have an oil leak from the spacer ring gaskets between the inner chain case and the crank case. If that is possible to do that. Any help would be grateful.      *dunno*

I'd think the front three (large ) studs would pull it up square, one consideration though is the spacer at the rear  of the case, i usually fit the inner case and then pull it up square with the front studs (using washers or spacers in place of the outer cover) then measure what is required if anything for the small spacer/washer at the rear

Thanks bsa-bill,

I'm not sure I understand where the small spacer/washer is at the rear. Could you enlighten me to where it is please.

Spacer circled goes between inner primary cover and frame through hole circled.
Cheers
