Title: Indian made mudguards on Ebay.
Post by: Tarsier79 on 09.09. 2016 09:22
Gday.

I am having trouble finding mudguards that aren't stupidly priced for a 57 Golden Flash. I am wanting to change the guards from the slimline type guards to the chunky ones. I don't wan't chrome, and can't afford stainless, so want to match the colour to my tank.

These are the ones I spotted on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BSA-FRONT-REAR-MUDGUARD-FENDER-SET-RAW-BARE-METAL-A7-A10-SWINGING-ARM-AUD-/282167069715?hash=item41b277cc13:g:AsMAAOSwzgRW0~Dt

Has anyone had any experience with these? I have had mixed success with quality ordering parts from India for my Indian made Enfield.

Cheers

Kaine.

G'day Kaine.
Add to that cost a few cans of spray putty *eek*. I got one for the front of my plunger, I'm sure it was polished with an angle grinder *ex*
Cheers

I bought an indian front guard for my super rocket, I ended up giving it to someone, it was horrible  *razz*.
caveat emptor.
One of the local club members had better luck buying indian repro parts through Burtons, at least as a larger supplier they presumably can quality check parts whereas buying site unseen direct ex india, your liable to get the apprentices mistakes  *rant*
