Title: Engine removal A10 plunger
Post by: oval57 on 08.11. 2016 11:21
I have to remove my engine and want to know if it should come out the left or right side. Apart from removing the obvious, any tricks, tips appreciated......My bike is a 52 A10 plunger frame. Cheers Roger

Pretty sure I took mine out on the primary side. What are you planning to do?
If you are stripping the whole engine you might want to take lumps off while still in the frame: holds it steady and reduces the weight.

Slipped it out tonight, as a complete unit minus generator and carb, easy as really ,lot lighter than I imagined.......fingers crossed it goes back just as easy

Well done, when you think years ago we'd handball engines into all sorts of vehicles ,hope the work progresses well. *wink2*
