Just read that Eddie Dow passed away last Friday R.I.P.
-
hi guys, that is very sad, RIP, Eddie
-
really sad news ,wonder how old He was? Only time I ever used is place was in 1966 ,when ermm I broke down outside his premises early on a saturday morning , before they opened a guy came over asked what was wrong and got me a rear chain spring clip and was on my way before the stores opened ,always wondered who he was , unfortueately to relate the A10 threw a rod about 5-10 miles further on !!
-
If he hadn't brought that spring clip, *bash*would've saved your motor *rant* *smile*
-
Eddie was 93. Overseas members might not recognise the name, but he's credited with creating the first RGS and supplying parts to BSA
-
Dowt it Dutch, I'd have been later and would have screwed the poor things neck even more *dunno**countdown* ,I was only 16 and there was a party in london to get to !!
