Title: Bunbury Two Day (yesterday!)
Post by: orabanda on 12.03. 2018 07:45
Hi All, well we turned up again!
What a wonderful event the Indian Harley (Bunbury) MCC have organised (for the 44th consecutive year).

It was an opportunity to catch up with club and fellow forum member Peter In Oz (who was officiating), and forum member Gavin (from Mandurah). My wife Melissa threw caution (and better judgement) to the wind (and there was too much of that), and climbed on the back of the Super Rocket. It performed faultlessly, as did Gavin's gold 1951 A10. We covered 370 kms over the two days.

Great event; fully subscribed (180 riders); smiles all round. Warm / hot weather (28C – 31C), with VERY GUSTY winds (100 km/hr as we rode across the ridge line looking over Bunbury; scared passenger and rider).

The BSA performed faultlessly, Melissa was the perfect pillion passenger EXCEPT for the constant whacks to my side (two taps was the agreed signal for me to slow down; I almost ended up bruised).

Gavin rode shotgun on his 1951 Golden Flash, and shared a terrific week-end.

The Indian – Harley (Bunbury) Motorcycle put on a most enjoyable event (the 44th). The committee and the hard working club members behind the scenes made sure we had plenty of food, and entertainment. There was an excellent 5 piece band after the meal on the Saturday night; their play list could have come straight off my IPod!

Lots of pics to follow.

Thanks mate. I prefer #139 A10 cafe. The stand was a bit precarious on the timber.
Cheers
