Title: Britsh bike extractor tool. Can you help me identify this tool MCE TSB8
Post by: Graham367 on 17.06. 2018 13:38
I have come across a motorcycle extractor tool in my old tool box and have reason to beleave it is a clutch extrator tool for either a BSA or Truimph not sure.
The markings on the tool are MCE TSB8.
I would be most pleased if any one could identify this for me.
Many thanks
Graham

Graham,

Welcome to the forum.  *welcome* Odd that your first post is to ask a question about an old tool. Can you get over to "Pictures, Stoies and Introductions" and tell us a bit about yourself and interest in A7/A10 BSAs?

G'day Graham.
Could be a cam pinion extractor or unit construction clutch hub puller. https://tinyurl.com/yb64qxlf
Cheers

Could be one of these as attached?? though mine has MOA P110 on it

Got one in the odds 'n sods pullers box, can't remember what for though!

Possibly I've used for:

An A group mag pinion puller, but I don't think so as I've another that looks more like that

More likely a clutch hub extractor, either for my A group four spring clutch or my pre war single spring clutch on my M23

Graham, If you could measure the thread diameter and TPI it should be easier to identify.

I think I have something like this in my box of odds-n-sods. I probably bought it when I had a Triumph Trailblazer, (or maybe the Triumph 3TA)
