Title: Brainwave (grease to the outside of the spring coils)

While putting my clutch together I applied some copper slip grease to the outside of the spring coils. Might be my imagination but the clutch operation now feels pretty smooth and easy. The grease is high temperature and used for brake pads etc., so I'm not expecting it to spread onto the clutch plates.
