Pretty sure I've seen that somewhere before. Not sure on the thinking at the front end ... not sure on the thinking for a lot of it. One of those 'because it's there' kind of projects I'd guess. Not sure there isn't some more engineering required to get the drive chain run right.

20 stone seems to be the minimum weight for many folk these days, so maybe the front end is designed around that premise? And what's with the motor? Looks like DOHC. Obviously a lot of time and effort went into this creation. Just not sure it was worth it .....

jeeez, that is an ugly creation, and roadworthiness \ handling probably as bad as the thing looks.

I've seen a picture from the other side, there are no fork legs on the timing side at all!

Which bit is B.S.A. anyway?......Each to their own I say.
