After thumbing quickly through TFS and pausing at the occasional tip, it males me wonder how it is that my bike runs at all.

Been to a few race meetings where the Irving Vincent has punted about. OMG it's quick.
Him and Bert are my idols.

It appears to be in copyright until 2062, so, discretion is the better part of wallet.

As Dylan said, "To live outside the law you must be honest."  I believe there is a forum policy regarding posting copy-written material (admin may advise), but if it's not posted, hey...

Was $89 over 10 years ago. I friend in the BSA club loaned me his copy and I was so impressed with it I bought my own. It's quite a big book and covers Phil's whole life and he was a great author. I've lent it to others who all say it's fantastic too. Highly recommend any motorcycle fan read this book.

Many years ago I was in the Excellent 'Technical Bookshop' it Swanston St Melbourne browsing the shelves, and the great P.I. was in the motorbikes section too. Exchanged pleasantries, and had a brief natter with him about Velocettes. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he wasn't there shifting his titles to the front of the stacks.
