Title: Id required on this piece
Post by: Daveh67 on 08.08. 2019 11:46
I'm wondering where this oil pipe went from the gearbox. Mine is crimped and closed.
I can't find a reference to it in the service manual

Hello Dave,
Welcome to the Forum. Definitely the speedo drive. Presumably the PO (previous owner) crimped it to stop the oil running out of the box.

Hiya Dave- that's definitely a oil-driven wireless speedo drive, a fairly rare item, cherish it.... *beer*

As Colsbeeza says speedo drive bodge.
I don't think it's a wireless version  *conf*.

Cheers everyone, didn't want to start dismantling until I've identified everything.

And take huge amounts of pictures.

I wish now that I had more "before" pictures of the bike.
