A poll to check member's 'reception' situation, related to the most & normally used connection \ device.
The result will help setting attachment size (among other things).
To check internet speed, https://www.fast.com/ or https://www.speedtest.net

I eventually worked out I needed to go to the forum help section to do my vote.....to see the original post rather than replies.

^^^ loging in while seeing the topic will display the poll at the top of the topic (...hopefully, at least does so on my systems :O) Polls are always shown on top of topic, above 1st post.
& thanks for voting.

Thanks, what confused me is that my iPad always logs me in “automatically” so to perform a login, I would have to logout (manually) first, so an “instruction” is needed for the scenario where a (dum, like me) user is already logged in?

Hello, no problem, here's a description attempt.
A poll will always be at the very top (of any topic\posts related to the poll), 1st thing below the main menu list.
Only logged in members can see poll\vote.
If logged in and 'entering' the poll topic by clicking on one of the reply links, like in 'Show unread' or 'Recent Posts' list, just scroll to the top of the topic.
So there should be no need to find the original 1st poll topic, if seeing any poll related post, scroll to the top.

Some more would want to vote ? *smiley4*
