hi all....just a quick question - I am assuming my 63 Flash is negative earth ( no wiring on when I bought it ) ive got to the wiring stage now ! thanks ..Phil. *smile*
-
No, all 1963 A10's were originally +ve earth as they left the factory. If it's negative earth it will be because a PO changed it.
-
ok , thanks - no idea what the PO did so I will go with + ive ...cheers !

If the bike has been out of use for a longer period, you'll need to flash the dynamo anyway, so + or - earth, the choice is yours.
If you don't know how, do a search for "dynamo flash" on the forum. Plenty of "how to" there.

yes , thank you - many years have passed since I last had a dynamo equipped bike and my memory is not what it was ! Phil .
