Having only been able to find ones suitable for swing arm models I've resorted to knocking up my own.
It will double up as a gearbox stand once I've made an extra bit for it to grab the top mount on the box.
Don't look too closely at the welding, having to use fire extinguisher CO2 for the moment.
Beats balancing the lump on chunks of wood.

Looks the DB's to me Minto. Mind you that's coming from someone who is never going to touch a welder for everyone's safeties sake!
*countdown* *bash* *good3* ::hh::

Thanks Jim, I'm just glad it fits and works.
-
Here's my version. Yours looks Rolls Royce quality compared to mine.
-
Thanks GB, managed to get out and do some work today, the stand makes it loads easier.
Do you run your engine while it's on that stand? It looks like you have throttle connected and pipes on. You have more faith in yours than I do in mine.

Yes yes yes.... No, it was just mocked up for a photo opportunity

I was wondering how you'd start it with no gearbox attached, I was imagining some kind of Heath Robinson, pedal powered, traction belted, lightning conductor contraption bolted through the timing case.
Oh well!

I looked at several stands for sale figured I could make one cheaper $ 60.00 material everything is adjustable so with different engine brackets would likely work for other engines as well.....makes setting end play etc a lot easier
mod edit: rotated pic

dont know why the pic is upside down but makes it easier for our Aus readers *smile*

nice one Minto. i also went through this recently as my a10 (swing arm) is in bits again.
first pic below is the 'original' from the 2016 rebuild, since recycled back to the rubbish it was.
next pic recently made universal adjustable type - should manage the b33 as well.
final version/pics (at RR's suggestion) specifically for the a10 and as it slides into the timing side only so can allow reassembly of the cases. it can tip over on its side eg when fitting the crank etc. this was much harder to make getting the three mount points parallel.

Mike, that last stand looks great, ideal to be able to split the cases and set the crank end float, my motors back on lumps of wood for this job.
